August 2nd gig at The Palms

They took down the catwalk that was a vestige of the Matt Goss show. No more high vantage point rear POV shots, but the band has a lot more room on stage now. All good.

Full blog update report after DayGigIstan. It was a good night. Great crowd. Gabe took up the kit tonight in Pepe's absence, and stomped the groove all night. Michito came in to do percussion

The Flamenco Gods smiled, resulting in Jerry throwing down on Canta con Amigo.

This cat James Burton sat in on trombone. Bad Boy, jeez...

Thank you all from comin' out. It was slammin'... More later.

Mo' pics from a Hang...

Yet another fine evening. Some tunes we've not heard for a while, including (in addition to Canto con Amigo) Oh, Nena, Turn Your Love Around, Come Back Home. Thanks to Dan Phillipus for again filling in on baritone for Eric Tewalt. Cat was all over the book.

We really appreciate all the support. If you're new to the blog, please pay it forward.

Greg, again, man, thanks for the fine light board work.

Don't forget, peeps, Negrita Night tomorrow (Wed ,10 pm) at The Bootlegger (7700 S. LV Blvd, at Robindale).
