By Proclamation of the Mayor: November 4th is now Jerry and Lenny Lopez Day
Great event, great turnout. Props to The Las Vegas Showbiz Society. A thoroughly deserved honor. Proclamations of recognition from Senator Reid, Congresswoman Berkley, and Mayor Goodman, and a fine celebration with their peers.

FYI: Browser recommendations
I recommend Safari (the quickest loading) or the Firefox browser for the best blog viewing experience. They work under both Windows and Mac OS. Internet Explorer just doesn't cut it for viewing photo and graphics-heavy websites and blogs. UPDATE: Google now offers their free beta "Chrome" browser. It's also quite good (I installed it for comparison testing), and runs on Macs, PCs, and Linux machines. ________

Kurt Kolstad is my dear friend, a crazy fine performer and writer with whom I had the honor of gigging 35 years ago in Seattle (cat could most certainly play with Santa Fe). He is a wonderful person who has been battling lymphoma for a number of years now. If you can contribute any amount (via US Bank) to help defray his huge and mounting medical expenses, it would be appreciated beyond words (click his pic for details). -BobbyG
