I hope everyone is havin' a good July 4th extended weekend. Just want to make note of a couple of things. First, again citing the upcoming MOSAIC benefit performance at Harrah's (click the flyer image to enlarge):
These cats are so fine. If you've yet to hear them, this gig would be a great venue in which to do so. Below, a cut from their new CD "Will Sing 4 Food." The tune, "You Can't Get Far," is an original penned by Daniel Alan Head and Sean Gerrity. Hard to believe that that's all "just" vocals, no conventional "instruments."

Coming up next Friday July 11th, our dear Gypsy Jazz friends The Hot Club of Las Vegas return to the VOX Wine Lounge on the southside, Horizon Ridge Road just east of Eastern.

A while back on the blog I noted running across a cool woman blues guitarist by the name of Cheryl Justice. She's gonna be performing at Roxy's in Sam's Town this coming Tuesday, July 8th, 8 pm - 12 midnight, with Sally Townes. Gonna go check it out and cop some shots.
