The Side Guys at The Palazzo

I am not kidding. This is crazy good. They're here thru Saturday night, no cover, no minimum. Crushingly fine music, off-the-scale soloing. You simply must check it out. Ricky Peterson on keys, his brother St. Paul Peterson on bass, Nicky Moroch on guitar, Joey Finger on tubs, Theodis Rogers, Jr. on keys. Howard Arthur sittin' in on guitar (OMG! smokin').

I got more shots. Stay tuned. Wanted to get this up quicky FYI. Below, killer guitar cat and long-time Minneapolis friend of the Petersons Howard Arthur throwin' down big-time on guitar. Dang! that was fine!

Y'all simply must turn out for this gig. Wow.

OTHER ACTION THIS WEEK

Also, Tony Perry and his fine band are back at The Paris, Wednesdays thru Sundays. These peeps are really fun to witness. Great players, great vocals, great dancing.

And, our bro' Michael Grimm is at Hank's in Green Valley Ranch this week and next, 6 pm. Also don't forget Michito's Salsero gig at South Point every Thursday (Fever Showroom), and our friends Phoenix every Saturday at South Point, as well as their upcoming gig in the Hilton Showroom (begins March 27th).

SOUL MUSIC ONLINE NEWS UPDATE

Our great friend The CEO of Soul Andy Ebon did an awesome writeup on Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns on his Soul Music News website. Links therein to the new CD Baby page where peeps can buy the band's CDs. Check it out.
