First, tonight in the Ovation showroom in Green Valley Ranch, the Lon Bronson band. Word is that they'll be there tonight and next Thursday, and then not again 'til mid-November (Station properties are reportedly cutting back their entertainment schedules, owing to the slow economy and their continuing BK troubles).

This Thursday, The Cordle-Scott Band will be tearing it up back at Johnny Fontane's Beach House on Sahara. We need some support on this gig--we're trying to get EVERY THURSDAY, as opposed to every OTHER Thursday. Please come out & support live music!

The powerful jazz singer, Mary Ellen Spann, with Woody Woods, keyboards; John Wedemeyer, guitar; Chris Gordan, bass; and Joel Richman, drums return in a benefit for the Friends of Winchester Park.
